Our Flooring Apprentice position is perfect for individuals looking to get their career started in the flooring industry and gain vital installation experience. We will connect you with an experienced lead installer, who will teach you the craft and open up growth opportunities for your future within the business. Full on-the-job training is available and no previous experience in flooring installation is required.
Duties
- Ability and willingness to learn installation techniques of various flooring types
- Loading and unloading of materials
- Tear out, installation and clean-up of the job site
- Cut and shape materials according to measurements
- Communicate with lead installers to ensure expectations are met
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, kneel, bend over, etc. for long periods.
